Lithium Extraction & Refining - Direct Lithium Extraction
Standard Lithium has partnered with Lanxess to selectively extract lithium from oil field brine and produce battery quality lithium compounds. In 2023 two feasibility studies were completed for separate projects in the Smackover Formation in Southwest Arkansas. Preliminary feasibility study highlights indicate economic feasibility based in part on a reusable, custom-formulated lithium-selective sorbent.
