Larger applications (wholesale, grid-connected, scaled to large energy capacities) will continue to provide the lowest LCOS. Smaller applications (standalone or residential with lower storage capacities) have the highest LCOS.
LCOS also varies depending on energy storage technology, but for simplification, this study only looks at LFP, NMC, and Flow technologies. 14
